This predominantly rocky island is an unexploited jewel amongst the Cycladics, located south of Kythnos and northwest of Sifnos.
But despite the islands rocky charachteristics it offers magical and serrene bays and beaches and here you can truly enjoy the authentic island life. So far this small island is yet to be discovered by the vast majority of tourists. And this absence of hords of island hoppers often gives you a sense of having the entire island to yourself.
According to Greek mythology the rocky features of the island came about since Perseus buried the severed head of Medusa here.
